WHY?
The purpose of Celebrate Recovery at The River Church is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the 8 recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and Christ-centered 12 steps. We open the door by sharing our hurts, experiences, and victories with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life's problems. By working the steps and applying their Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
WHO?
Celebrate Recovery is for ANYONE who has a hurt, habit, or hang-up and who desires to get over it and get on with their life.
WHAT?
Celebrate Recovery provides you a safe place to share your hurts, experiences, and hopes with others who are also going through the program. You will have the opportunity to find accountability partners and a sponsor. Our confidential group setting allows you to learn, grow and become strong again. Within the ministry, you will discover a personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ.
